It’s one of the park’s most iconic trails and is part of the grander Ice Age National Scenic Trail. This moderately challenging route takes you up the eastern bluffs for stunning lake views. As you enjoy this hike, don’t miss a stop at Devil’s Doorway, a striking rock formation that’s a favorite for photos.
- Though bikes aren’t allowed on most trails within the park, there is excellent mountain biking on the Uplands Loop Trail.
- Get out on the crystal clear, blue waters of Devil’s Lake. Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard to explore the lake from the water. If you prefer a swim, the park has two large sandy beaches perfect for cooling off in the summer months.
